The original and iconic relish that started it all for us. Half a plum tree gave way under the weight of plums, giving us the opportunity to experiment until we created our best seller.
The name came initially about from friends who live in the shadow of Whitby Abbey and made the suggestion to us after a few jars were given to them as a gift, stating it was 'dark, mysterious with hidden depths of flavour, exotic and entices the senses, like Dracula!'.
A merest tickle of gentle heat on the palate with lovely layers of flavour, Vampire Slayer can be used the enhance cold cuts, cheese boards and salads for example, or mixed into chilli, sauces and gravy to give them an extra dimension and depth of flavour.
